Your Mother Was Right, You Are Who You Associate With. In Order to Become Wealthy You Must…
Posted by ckrishnek in Marketing Tips and Strategies on May 27th, 2009
It is true. The type of people you hang out with reflects on who you are…
If you want to be successful and wealthy then it is very important to surround yourself with successful and wealthy people. Successful people often talk about taking actions towards their dreams and then they do it! This is not only motivating for you but it teaches you the mindset and skills you will need and use for the rest of your life. Some people are natural born leaders and some are not. By surrounding yourself with leaders you will find that you begin to pick up leadership skills that you never knew you had. Remember, people will follow people whom are confident and believe in themselves. It is human nature to follow leaders or become leaders. You must decide which one you will be.
Stay away from the dream killers. You know who they are. The people that scoff at you when you tell them your dreams or you get excited over a new business idea. They see the negative in everything and believe that your MLM or internet marketing business opportunity is a scam or a pipe dream. Whatever you do, do not let them bring you down. Use the dream killer’s negativity as a leverage to pull yourself away from their influence and make it a goal to prove them wrong! Believe in yourself and success will happen.
Blogging Tips and Tricks for Online Marketing
Posted by ckrishnek in Marketing Tips and Strategies on May 25th, 2009

Blogging Platforms:
There are many. The most popular are Wordpress and Blogger. For driving traffic. I personally recommend using Wordpress due to its flexibility. You can open a Wordpress account at www.wordpress.com however, I recommend you host your own Wordpress blog. The reason for this is that your account on www.wordpress.com can be disabled without any warning due to any content that you might have accidentally entered which goes against their policies. If you host your own blog then you have complete control over your account and content.
I have created a video on how to do this.
I like to use Hostgator as my hosting service.
Benefits of Blogging:
-Terrific way to make your presence known on the web.
-You can go viral
-Links, links, links (enough said)
Ping Your Blog!:
Be sure to use www.pingomatic.com whenever you add content to your blog.
Link to Other Blogs:
Go to other blogs with similar content and ideas then use a link to their blog on one of your posts. This will send a message to that blogger that you linked to their blog. They will check out your blog.
Posting Ideas:
-Write down a list of things your learned for the day and post it. It doesn’t have to be a lot, maybe 5-7 things.
-Did you just do something fun or are you planning to? Post it to your blog.
-Any videos you make, post them!
-Are you opinionated? Post your opinions.
-Everyone has pictures. Post them!
-If you write articles or press releases make sure you post a link to them on your blog.
-Posts about how to do something or resolve a problem are huge hits for people searching the net.
As you can see, blogging isn’t very hard and it can be a lot of fun. So get to it. Start you blog today. If you have any questions on starting a blog or need help please feel free to contact me.

The 4 Steps to Turning Potential Prospects into Lifetime Customers
Posted by ckrishnek in Marketing Tips and Strategies on May 21st, 2009
Find your target audience. To do this you must first define who your target audience is. Who would most likely be interested in what you have to offer? Is it a certain age group, gender, occupation, income, marital status, parental status, or maybe geographic region? It could be one or many of these. There are chances that your target audience might be too broad in which case you would us categories such as ethics, morals, success seekers, risk takers, penny pinchers and so forth.
Step #2 -
Now that you have found your target audience the next step is to find ways of interacting with them. Do research one where you would best find them. Would it be your local mall, grocery store, concert events, social scenes, church, the internet, etc.
For example: Let’s say your are trying to sell tickets to a hard rock concert. More than likely you would not try to do this at church. You probably would not sell many. Interacting with people at hard rock concerts or bars that play hard rock would more than likely be your best bet.
Example for internet marketers: Let’s say your product is an e-book on how to find your soul mate. The best places to find people that would want to buy your e-book would be social sites like Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, dating sites, dating forums and so on.
Step #3 -
Once you have established the correct avenue of finding your target audience you will want to interact with them in order to begin a relationship of some sort. Remember that people establish relationships with people they know, trust or can provide some kind of value to them. A tried and true way would be to give away something for free or offer free tips and/or advice that coincides with what you are trying to sell.
For example: Sticking with the hard rock concert tickets. You might want to give away free buttons with the band’s picture or free back stage passes to the first 15 people to buy tickets in a given amount of time. You have just turned potential prospects into customers.
Example for the internet marketer: You want to sell your e-book on how to find your soul mate right? You have found the sites that you think your prospects will most likely be at. The easiest way to establish a relationship with them would be to send them tips and tricks from your e-book without giving away all of the information. Give them just enough to spark their curiosity so they will want more. They buy your e-book without thinking twice. Potential prospect turned customer!
Step #4 -
Turn your customers into fans! Once you have customers you will want to keep them. In order to do this you must make them your fan. Keep them happy. Show them your appreciation and give away more free stuff exclusive only to your customers. Remember, people love free stuff even if it is just advice and tips. This tells them you care about them and want them to be happy. Once you have turned a customer into a fan they will want to know about any other product you have and trust you enough to buy over and over again.
Extra note -
You must be very careful to keep your integrity. Once a customer smells a rat they will run the other direction and also tell all of their friends and family about you. You must always be true to your customers and provide high quality products and services or you will fail in the long run. A scammer can only scam for so long before word has spread and then the show is quickly over. Being known for your quality products and services as well as integrity will keep you in business for a long long time.
The Pipeline Effect
Posted by ckrishnek in Marketing Tips and Strategies on May 19th, 2009
The key to effective marketing is to have a continual stream of new people becoming aware and inquiring about your business. The biggest mistake you can make is only focusing on your marketing when you need money. Think about long term results, consistency, repetition, and continual growth.
It is important that you do not lose focus on creating relationships with your prospects. The marketing pipeline image below displays the idea of getting the attention of people in the marketplace who might be interested in your business opportunity. Try to move as many prospects as possible to the next stage in the pipeline which would be from prospects to leads. The following stage would be from leads to opportunities and on to closed sales.
The pipeline can fail where prospects fall out of the pipeline and never move on to the next stage. This can happen very easily if you do not stay consistent with your marketing. You must improve your conversion rates by converting as many prospects as possible into leads and so on. If the stages of the pipeline are not aligned and connected properly, then the pipeline fails and so does your business.
